Absu SUG director of Sports, comr Emmanuel Chukwukeruba Smart has finally  installed a Volleyball Court in Absu_Umuahia Campus..

 The Hardworking DOS who has worked tirelessly to equip and promote the sports activities of the the University, installed the Volleyball court in umuahia campus and promising to establish other sports activities in time to come.

 Speaking with satellitegists senior correspondent, he said,  "Before aspiring for Absu SUG director of Sports, I've had plans to develop and reconstruct the sports sector of the University, as football lover and a football player, I will work tirelessly to live a legacy that will push the Sports Directors of the Union who will probably come after me to work hard and see the need of protecting the interest of their followers as leaders"..  

He also gave them trainers beep for both male and female category for Footbal and promise them that onyenso led admin will do more for them

 An 11-year-old boy hacked into a replica website used by the Florida Secretary of State to report election results and changed the election results once he gained access into the site.

11-year-old Emmett Brewster was able to hack it in just 10 minutes. This happened at this year’s DEFCON hacking conference in Las Vegas.

At the conference, Emmett and many other children were offered the chance to hack into a mock-up of a Secretary of State website. According to DEFCON spokespeople, the kids were offered 13 replicas of Secretary of State websites, with Florida being the first. Emmett succeeded in hacking Florida's website in only a few minutes.

Emmett was one of about 50 children between the ages of 8 and 16 who took part in a kid-specific workshop at this year’s hacker conference. According to Quartz, the kids were able to manipulate various things on the websites, including vote counts, candidate names, and party names.

Anambra School Girls Win Gold in World Technovation Challenge in US

They defeated US, CHINA,SPAIN,TURKEY,ETC

The five Anambra girls from Regina Pacies Secondary School Onitsha who represented Nigeria and Africa at the World Technovation Challenge in the Silicon Valley in San Francisco, US last night have won the Gold Medal in the contest.

The team, led by Uchenna Onwuamaegbu Ugwu defeated representatives of other technological giants including the USA, Spain, Turkey, Uzbekistan and China to clinch the gold medal.

The Anambra girls who have now become Africa's Golden Girls is made up of five brilliant girls including

1 Promise Nnalue
2 Jessica Osita
3 Nwabuaku Ossai
4 Adaeze Onuigbo
5 Vivian Okoye

The world champions who are reported to be attracting a lot of attention in the world's greatest technological hub won the Challenge with a mobile application called the FD-Detector which they developed to help tackle the Challenge of fake pharmaceutical products in Nigeria.

Under the tutelage of Uchenna Onwuamaegbu-Ugwu the CEO of Edufun Technik STEM, the Golden Girls spent five months researching and developing FD-Detector which swept through over 2000 competing applications to get to the finals in San Francisco.

Technovation is a programme that offers girls around the world the opportunity to learn the programming skills they need to emerge as tech-entrepreneurs and leaders.

Every year, girls are invited to identify a problem in their communities, and then challenge them to solve them by developing Andriod applications that would address those problems.

115 countries participated in the qualifiers but only 12 teams from all over the world were selected as finalists for the pitch in Silicon Valley.

The girls will also be attending Field trips, life-changing workshops including a networking session during their one week stay in USA.

The Governor of Anambra State,Chief Willie Obiano had personally sent them off to the US in a brief ceremony at the last Executive Council Meeting where he charged the girls to put Nigeria and Africa on the global technological map with their rare talent.

Bobrisky shades Nina, says she’s not progressing

Nigerian male cross-dresser, Bobrisky is not over the bromance between Nina and Toyin Lawani.

The controversial girl guy threw shades at ex Big Brother Naija housemate, Nina. Bobrisky who fell out with Nina after she became close to his arch enemy, Toyin Lawani, took to Instagram to say Nina has recorded no progress.

A fan of Nina wrote; “These people are trying so hard to bring this girl down.Most of them can not believe the progress she has made.”

Bobrisky replied

Black Panther’s Sister, Shuri gets own spin off

In Marvel’s massively successful “Black Panther” film released this year, one of the major surprises was how the superhero’s sister, tech genius Shuri, stole the show.

Now, she is getting her own comic book series.

Marvel Comics has announced a spin-off series, to begin in October, in which Black Panther is lost on a mission to space, and Shuri is looked upon to step up to fill the void left by her big brother in their mythical home nation Wakanda.

“The world fell in love with Shuri in the movie. Now, the Black Panther’s techno-genius sister launches her own adventures,” the publisher said, confirming news first published by news site Bustle.

British-Guyanese actress Letitia Wright earned praise for her portrayal of Shuri in the smash hit film, which critics agree was a groundbreaking moment for blacks on the silver screen.While Shuri is not the first black heroine in the Marvel universe — Storm, one of the X-Men, has been around for decades — entire books dedicated to black female characters are rare.

Female Nigerian-American sci-fi author Nnedi Okorafor will write “Shuri.”

She is already working for Marvel on its “Wakanda Forever” series, which focuses on the Dora Milaje, the all-female special forces unit in the fictional nation.According to Box Office Mojo, “Black Panther” has taken in more than $1.34 billion, making it number nine on the all-time box office list. “Avatar” is the all-time champion at nearly $2.8 billion.
